Message to Portland Readers

Dear readers in the Portland area,

I will be leading a once a month discussion group beginning Jan. 11 and continuing on the second Tuesday of every month. The purpose of the group is to support each other as we develop habits to grow a joyful spirit.

Everyone is welcome. If you are interested, I would be glad to give you more information and answer any questions. Please email me at galenpearl@gmail.com.

Best wishes,

  1. Galen Pearl: I am too far away to attend, but if I can someday add something positive, just let me know.

  2. JJ, Thank you for the kind offer. I can let you know of two things right now. First, I always appeciate your comments, so please don't stop. Second, if you are ever visiting in the Portland area, please join us.

  3. Oh I wish I could attend but you are too far away. Keep us posted and perhaps we can add comments or whatever for you to share at your groups or visa versa! Enjoy your holiday, and your family as well!

  4. So, not that it would make me able to attend, but I'mm curious...is this Portland, Maine or Portland, Oregon? I love the idea of the group! I attend a women's goal setting group which has been amazing. It's been over 8 years now!!

  5. Karen S.--I always welcome your comments. Maybe we can have a virtual group?! I'll let y'all know how it goes.

Therese--Portland, Oregon. Sorry, I should have made that clear! I'd love to hear more about your group. What do you think has kept it going for 8 years? Same women or has the memebership of the group changed? How often do you meet? What do you do at a meeting?

  6. signed up for your blog...love Portland but can only visit...My Library Girl lives in Portland and teaches in Vancouver WA... I will return and visit your site after my wee respite

Like your ideas and thank you for your kind words on my blog this week
